The Pilar Golf is located 50 Kms from downtown Buenos Aires, wth 200 hectares surrounded by rivers and lakes.
The Club House is a place to relax.
It has a 3-level swimming pool with cascades.
In the 4500 m2 premises you will find a snack bar, a library, restaurants, an English pub, a game room, a cloakroom, sauna, Pro-Shop and a terrace with a view of the golf course.
The course (27 holes) is one of the most important courses of the country and is famous worldwide. It has driving range, putting greens and bunkers for practice.

Foundation
On 10th August 1926, a group of 30 golfers, the mayority from England, founded the Olivos Golf Club.
In April 1928, the Club joined the Argentine Golf Association and inaugurated the golf course on 19th May. The Olivos turned into one of the most important golf courses in Argentina and hosted the best golf players in international tournaments.
Practice
It has 27 holes. The first 18 are for the white and red courses, and the remaninig 9 are for the blue course.

The Jockey Club Golf is one of the most famous golf courses of South America. It is located at about 20 minutes from down town Buenos Aires.
The main building, inaugurated in 1945, was build and designed for maximum comfort and has all facilities needed. The famous Cancha Colorada (Red course:6,628 yards) and the Cancha Azul (Blue Course:6229 yards) were designed by Allister Mackenzie.
The Red course inaugurated in 1928, hosted the 1962 and 1970 World Cups, and the National Championship Tournament and the Paco Rabanne Cup played by the best European and American golfers. The design of the course makes it seem easy, but when played this illusion turns into a real challenge. The designer added some mounds and unevenness to the flat field, making it outstandingly complicated.
It is framed by beautifully afforested areas, with pine trees as the main species. In spite of this, the layout is often open and it is possible to play the hole straight through the fairway. As the
greens can’t be seen from the middle of the fairway, you must aim at the flag.
More often than not, it is not easy to read the greens for putting and short shots. So, it is compulsory to discover and learn the secrets of the fairways and greens before playing. It is better not to play alone on the flag. If not so, you have to forget about achieving amazing shots and play the old-fashioned Scottish way: chipping.

Paz golf (Ascochinga). 18 Holes –72 even – 6395 Yards.
Originally designed in 1931, at the very beginning it was a 5-hole golf course, to be a complete 18 holes in 1997 with the design of Caprile and Capdepont.
In both building stages the natural topography of the terrain was respected as well as the local flora, such as the Algarrobos which are now more than 100 years old. The golf course is next to the Estancia and it is a par 72 course with a total 6395 yards.

Surrounded by picturesque mountains offering breathtaking views, this 18-hole golf course was built in 1924. It is a par 70 course and has a total 5991 yards.
-Golf Club Villa Allende – 18 holes –72
even – 6768 Yards.
Founded in September 1922, this club hosts one of the most important tournaments in Argentina: the “Abierto del Centro de la República”. Very important Argentine professional players now with outstanding performances at International Tournaments, started playing here, such as Eduardo Romero, one of the best players of the European Tour.

Climate
It is usually hot in Buenos Aires during summer (European winter) i.e. from November to April (30 to 35º during the day).The climate can be a little bit dry, but storms from the oceanside bring humidity to the countryside.
In the province of Misiones, around Iguazú, it is a tropical weather with an average temperature of 28°C, sometimes rising up to 30°C to 35°C.

Currency
The local currency is the peso. One euro is about 4 pesos and One Usd is about 3 pesos. It is not necessary to travel with a lot of cash (pesos or dollars). Visa, MasterCard or American express are accepted everywhere.
Customs
To enter the country, only a passport is needed.
Health
Nothing is compulsory concerning vaccination. Being vaccinate against Hepatitis B is recommended. We advise NOT drinking tap water.
Food
Argentina is well known for its wines, produced mostly in the province of Mendoza, near the Andes, and… for its fabulous beef! Ask for a "bife de chorizo" or "lomo" and have it with a good red Malbec wine. In Patagonia, don´t miss the Patagonian lamb barbecue, nor the trouts from the lakes nor the Pacific salmons.
If you are a vegetarian: no problem, Argentina is a great fruit and vegetable producer, so you will find quality and variety at very low prices.
Iguazú National Park
Iguazú National Park was created in 1934 (Law N 12.103). It covers an area of approximately 67.620 hectares and was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO, owing to its beautiful landscapes and to its immense subtropical forest biodiversity. The semicircular waterfall at the heart of this site is some 80 m high and 2,700 m in diameter and is situated on a basaltic line which spans the Argentina-Brazil border. Formed by many cascades producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The surrounding subtropical rainforest has over 2,000 species of vascular plants and homes the typical wildlife of the region: tapirs, giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and caymans.
