10 days fly fishing
 You
will fish in the province of Chubut in the central Patagonia
near Esquel.
First, 3 days in the area of Los Alerces National Park. And
7 days at Tres Ríos Ranch Lodge, 220 Km from Esquel, built alongside 3 rivers in the best fly fishing area of Patagonia. Lonely and silent rivers and transparent lakes. It is considered one of the most exciting and challenging trout and salmon fishing opportunities found in Patagonia. This is a tailored area for trophy fish. Anglers can hook rainbows as big as steelheads, or browns in the 10 pounds range, and brooks as big or more than Labradors. The Río Corcovado is famous for its great production of large rainbows and brooks. The lower Río Pico and Nilson are pretty small streams with thousands of fish per mile; these 2 streams are perfect for dry fly fishing. Lots of huge trout can be found tubing in still waters such as in Lago 3. Here the nature-protecting “catch and return” is law. You will have the privilege to fish in private areas (Private Estancias) and enjoy peace and exclusivity with one professional fishing guide from the Chubut province (official) for every 2 fishermen.
Day 1
(1N El Pedregoso Lodge) (D)
Meeting with your fly fishing guides at Esquel (Patagonia,
Chubut). Transfer to the El Pedregoso Lodge, a privileged
lakeside location in the foothills of the Andes. Welcome dinner
with the fishing guides.
Day 2,
3, 4 (3N El Pedregoso Lodge) (3B, 3L, 3D)
Days of fly fishing in the Cholila Lake, Carrileufú and Tigre rivers, situated no more than 10 Kms from the Lodge. Fishing at the "Lago Verde" and Río Rivadavia, 50 kms from Cholila (1-hour-transfer). You can fish onboard or with floats. Famous for its crystal clear waters and the high fish population, this reserve is a secluded retreat of natural wonders. An angler's unspoiled paradise. Framed by snow-capped mountains with dense forest covered slopes, the blue lakes are connected by a network of pristine streams where you will wade, cast a fly and hook the most incredible wild trouts in abundance.
Day 5
(1N Tres Rios) (B, BL, D)
At 8h00 am, breakfast and transfer to Tres Rios Ranch. Fishing
during the ride in private lakes and Estancias near Corcovado.
Arrival in the evening at Tres Rios Ranch. Dinner and presentation
of the area. Tres Rios lies at 35 Km from the little town
of Río Pico, far from the mess of human civilization inside
a private area of
75 000 meters squared. The typical lodge has all the comfort
necessary for the rest of the fisherman after long day fishing:
restaurant, dinning and setting room with fireplace and view
of the higher summits of the magnificent south Andes covered
by snow . 4 bedrooms with private bathroom, fireplace, and
hot water ... The ranch is framed by 3 rivers: Río Pico, Nilson
and Pampas.
Day 6,
7 (2N Tres Rios) (2B, 2BL, 2D)
First day fishing the river Las Pampas at 4 Km from
the lodge with 3 Km private sides. You'll find rainbow, brown,
king salmon trout.
Fishing Río Pico from the lake 1 with Rainbow, Brown,
King Salmon trout. All in private Estancias
Fishing at the lake 3, you‘ll fish on board or with
floats with streamers and dry flies. Rainbow and Brown trout
from big size. The water comes from the glaciers.
Day
8 (1N Tres Rios) (B, BL, D)
Fishing the Rio Corcovado, all in private areas. The
Rio Corcovado is famous for its great production of large
rainbows and brooks trout the record weight of Patagonia:
7 to 10 Kg. The biggest are caught early and in the end of
the season. You will use nymphs and streamers.
Day 9,
10 (2N Tres Rios) (2B, 2BL, 2D)
You will fish in the initial part of the Rio Pico from the
confluence of the Rio Nilson until Chilenian border for 2
full fishing days all in private Estancias.
Day 11 (1N Tres Rios) (B, BL, D)
Fishing at Rio Nilson at 12 Km from the ranch: dry flies and
streamers. Rainbow and Brown trout.
At the Lake 4, 2Km from the lodge. The water comes directly
from the glaciers. Rainbow trout of 4, 5 Kg.
Farewell dinner (with vine included).
Day12 (B)
Transfer to Esquel (airport).
