 Climate
It is usually hot in Buenos Aires during the summer season (North Hemisphere winter), i.e. from November to April (30º to 35º C during the day). The climate can be a little bit dry, but humidity is brought into the countryside by seastorms.
In Patagonia, around Bariloche, it is cooler, 18-20° C average in both November and April, to rise up to 22 to 24° C in summer (December, January and February).
Further South, from Calafate to Ushuaia, the wind is the king of the steppes. It is obviously colder (O° to 20° C), and weather conditions changes all the time.

More on Food
Argentina is well known for its wines, produced mostly in the province of Mendoza, near the Andes. And the beef! Ask for a "bife de chorizo" or "lomo". In Patagonia, try the lamb barbecue, and a trout from the Southern lakes and a salmon from the Pacific.
If you are a vegetarian, don't worry, Argentina is a great fruit and vegetable producer, you will find variety and quality at very low prices.
