Zekeseven offers a 6-day trekking from Quebrada de Humahuaca to the jungle:
The trip begins at the Quebrada and ends in Calilegua National Park, in the heart of the jungle. Both sites have been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. Discover this area trekking on a-thousand-year-old trail amid incredible landscapes: from the desert to the jungle, breathtaking mountains and amazing valleys. The trip lures us to live an unique experience, visiting small settlements that can only be reached by foot, rich in magic and color and standing still in time, with inhabitants still uncontaminated by our modern civilization.

Quebrada - Puna
Days 2, 3, 4: Trek. 3 nights Camp.
At noon, transfer until trekking departure. We start in ascent to Altarcito area where we can see Pre-Columbian crop terraces. The trail we walk on is thousands of years old and was used by the first inhabitants that bartered or gathered food in both ecological areas. In the afternoon we settle the camp in a stunning area......

Jungle
3 nights Camp.
In this section of the trip, wa will start our descent from the mountains to the Jungle. The company of deer, hill turkeys and condors is not unusual. At noon we camp and walk around the town of San Lucas, one of the prettiest towns of Jujuy that can be reached only by foot or horse.
We finally make our way through the Jujuy jungle, home to America’s largest feline, the Yaguareté (Jaguar), and other species of felines and monkeys... |
