Day 1
Salta - Airport Salta We welcome you at Salta Airport and transfer you by pick-up truck. The rest of the day will be free for us to discover this colonial city. You can find lots of alternatives to enjoy Salta la Linda

Day 2
San Antonio de los Cobres and Salinas Grandes.
We depart early on our trip to Campo Quijano, going throw Quebrada Del Toro, and the last arriving to the pre-Hispanic city of Rosa de Tastil. its legendaries ruins. Our trip continues to San Antonio de los Cobres, a typical town located at 4000 meters over sea level. Later, throw el Paso de Jama we will be able to appreciate the Salinas Grandes; then descending over the path of the Lipan, we will stop at Pumamarca town of and its famous Siete Colores Mount. Later, we arrive to our lodge at painteresque town of Tilcara.

Day 3
Devil's Throat - Tilcara
Free morning to discover Tilcara town and its unique things such as: Plaza Grande, Plaza Chica, Chapel Town - and Tilcara Pucará. In the afternoon we will trek to the Devil's Throat, walking along the old Kollas paths and stopping at an amazing sightsee. After 3 or 4 hours we finally go back to Tilcara.

Day 4
Tilcara - Iruya
During the morning, we will go towards North by a local Bus to the small town of Iruya, a picturesque village just in the north of Salta Province. We will have enough time to go around town, its beautiful cobbled streets and its typical Cappel. We will spend the night in this fascinating place.

Day 5
Iruya - Chiyayoc
Early in the morning, we will begin the crossing from Iruya, at 2800 metres over sea level. We will go up north to the river in a slow but incessant ascent, until we reach the Abra Del Colorado. From there, we will descent to the San Juan River where we have lunch. After the break, another ascent is expecting us and then the posterior descent to the Chiyayoc village, at 3100 m OSL. Walking time: 8 to 9 hours.

Day 6
Chiyayoc - Rodio
We continue our trip, ascending till the Abra of Chiyayoc at 3900 meters over sea level. From there we descent while we are enjoying the view, until we arrive to the small town of Rodio, a 3000meters over sea level. Estimated walking time: 4 to 5 hours.

Day 7
Rodio - Rodeo Colorado - Humahuaca
Our trek continues throw this amazing landscape. We descend until we reach the valley of river Trancas. Once there we start ascending again untill we arrive to the edge. From there we will have a fabulous view of Rodeo Colorado town. Later, we go back descending throw Pera River. We finally arrive to Rodeo Colorado town. Estimated wating time: 5 a 6 hours. During the afternoon we go back in our vehicle to Humahuaca.

Day 8
Humahuaca - Salta Airport
After breakfast we transfer you to Salta airport where our tours finish. Meals we provide: Breakfast.

Trekking between Iruya and Rodeo Colorado. (Between the days 5, 6 and 7 we provide Mules for the transportation of the tents, general equipment y food for all the crossing. We will carry the passengers’ luggage up to a maximum of 8 kg
