Our Guides
The guides we work with are fully certified AAGM-UIAGM, who have extensive experience on supervising mountain expeditions and activities worldwide. In addition, they are locals in Patagonia, which gives them a unique knowledge of every corner of the backcountry in this area.. after skiing and mountaineering here for so many years.
The Trip
10 days ski/snow touring and freeriding, between Argentina and Chile, starting in Bariloche. We will make short 4x4 road trips to get from one mountain area to the other. A unique experience, where you will not only find pristine terrain in the middle of the Andes, but also get to the summit of active + dormant volcanos, to later relax at the hotsprings nearby.

Day 1
Arrival at Buenos Aires International Airport, flight to Bariloche. Pick up there. Once at your accomodation we will do an equipment check and meeting with the guides. Welcome dinner.

Day 2
Ski/Snowboard at Cerro Catedral’s off pist to warm up, 40’ touring.
Meals: All.
Day 3 - 4
Touring and freeriding the backcountry behind Catedral, spend the night at the hut.

Day 5
1hr. road trip in the morning to Villa La Angostura. We will use the ski lifts and then ski/snow tour & ride the backcountry of Cerro Bayo, for some nice turns and powder.

Day 6 to 9
Chilean Volcanos. Daily ascents to 3 different volcanos, of which some have ski lifts that make the hike shorter. Hot springs at the end of the day.

Day 10
Back to Argentina, heading towards Parque Nacional Lanín.

Day 11
Parque Nacional Lanin. Tour & freeride the impressive Lanin Volcano.

Day 12
Day off at San Martín de los Andes, flight back to BA in the evening.

Day 13
Day at Buenos Aires, Tango night.
Included meals: breakfast.
Day 14
Buenos Aires, International flight in the afternoon.
