LAS LENAS HELISKI

Las Leñas lies at the end of a wide valley in Central Andes, 1200 Km from Buenos Aires. This is the area of the highest peaks. Las Leñas is near Mount Aconcagua, a colossus reaching 6962 meters above sea level. The mountains here are amazing, with tremendous freeriding options, the thrills of steep slopes and everlasting runs...
During the winter season, at 3400 m altitude snowfalls render about 20 mts. Powder is usually really dry. The storms come from the Pacific Ocean and dry out while leaving the Chilean side, so reaching Las Leñas the quality of the snow is perfect...
Dry powder snow, wide open slopes and challenging steep slopes make these virgin mountains an extraordinary skiing area.

Zekeseven Adventure offers Heliski in private groups of 4 skiers with 1 guide. This group size allows exclusive use of the helicopter and exclusive terrain from 1 day to 1 week, access to more remote areas and no helicopter waiting time.

Ski level
A good level is required: all mountains skiing or snowboarding in all kind of snow.
For the skiers, we recommend wide all mountain skis (skate more of 90 mm).

Physical condition
A good one is expected. To enjoy your trip, a physical training is recommended (Mountain bike, in line skate (fitness), jogging). You're going to ski at 3000 meters and more (4000). The acclimatization is easier if you are in good shape.

Gears needed
All your skiing and snowboarding equipment, bag for skiing with shovel, probe, beacon, helmet, goggles.
Equipment lent if necessary: Beacon, shovel, probe.

Money
IIt is the Peso. 3,8 Pesos = around 1 Euro, and 3 pesos are around 1 US$. It is not necessary to travel with a lot of cash (Pesos or Dollars). Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted everywhere.

Customs
To enter the country, only a passport is needed.

Health
Nothing is compulsory concerning vaccinations. Being vaccinate against Hepatitis B is recommended. We advise not drinking tap water.
