Level
This adventure does not require any special physical level. Enjoying outdoor sports is what matters. Trekking have a medium level and mountain biking level can be fitted to your shape with 4x4 following you during all the adventure in the Quebrada. This adventure makes places from 2000 to 3000 meters high during 5 days. We take care to avoid acclimatization disadvantages providing a correct acclimatization the first day.
Gears
We suggest taking suitable clothes for you are going to places in the mountains, warm but light sweaters and casual jackets which are effective to keep your body protected from rain and wind. 2 pairs of footwears, 1 light, 1 medium trekking, 1 back pack (40-45 l). All special gears for outdoors activities are provided. All special equipment for outdoors activities are provided.
Climate
It is usually cool in Buenos Aires from March to November (Average of 15°C). It also may be a little bit cold during July and August. The climate can be a little bit dry. But the county is getting wet by storms from the ocean.
In the North West, near the province of Salta, the average of temperature is about 18°C from March to November with maximum from 25 to 28°C. It is colder by night and in the higher mountains (3000 to 4000 meters). During this period, the region is meanly dry.
In the Iguazu National Park (North east), it is like a tropical zone, wet with temperatures rising to 30°C (average 18°C to 25°C). With large amounts of precipitation, warm temperatures and the thick vegetation acting as a windscreen, it experiences extremely high levels of humidity.

Currency
The local currency is the peso. One euro is about 5 pesos and one Usd is about 3,8 pesos. It is not necessary to travel with a lot of cash (pesos or dollars). Visa, MasterCard or American express are useful all the time.
Customs
To enter the country, only a passport is needed. (Visa for North American citizens)
Health
Nothing is compulsory concerning vaccination. Being vaccinate against Hepatitis B is recommended. We advise NOT drinking tap water.
