The Glaciers National Park, created in 1937, is the kingdom of continental ices and glaciers. It comprises 600,000 hectares in the southwestern part of Santa Cruz Province.Its spectacular beauty, the scientific interest it provokes and the endangered species still living in this area made UNESCO declare this Park a World Heritage Site in 1981.

ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival at El Calafate International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon.

Day 2
Two activities available:
1/ EXCLUSIVE CRUISE IN THE NATIONAL PARK:
Transfer in the morning from the hotel to the port where you will board your ship to Puerto Bandera. You will be sailing to the North- East during 2 hours. You will enjoy the full experience of Upsala Glaciers. Then you will stop in front of icebergs barriers and then you will keep on sailing to the Spegazzini channel, where you will be able to admire the huge ice walls from a very close distance. In the afternoon the ship arrives to Puesto Las Vacas – a very quiet bay in the Spagazzini Cannel. Lunch on board included. Finally, you will be arriving at 6pm at the private port “La Soledad”.
2/ ICE TREK ON THE VIEDMA GLACIER:
07.00 hs Pick Up at the hotel. Departure to El Chalten
11:30 hs Embark and sail in the Viedma Lake
The excursion takes you into superb scenery, deep in the heart of the glacier. The excellent step-cutting skills of your guide allows you to travel through the most spectacular and challenging glacier terrain imaginable, satisfying even the most ardent of adventurers. Gaining confidence as you go and with a total of 3 hours on the ice you could find yourself in all manner of situations, from squeezing through tight blue crevasses or sliding through ice caves to shuffling, down near vertical walls of ice. We stop for lunch break next to the Glacier 17:45 hs Back to Bahía Túnel
20:00 hs Arrival to El Calafate
Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3
After breakfast you will be transferred to Estancia Cristina, where you will enjoy a very exclusive excursion. You will board a ship at Puerto Bandera at 8:30am. You will be arriving at Estancia Cristina at 11:30am. Our professional drivers will be waiting for you in order to transfer you in 4WD vehicles to the Upsala Glacier, the Guillermo Lake, The Patagónico Sur Ice, and the Andes Mountains. You will also visit a region of grate geological interest where you will be able to observe marine fossils and flora and fauna as well while blending safety with fun. At 5:30pm you will start a trek to the boat reaching the port at about 7:30pm. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 4
Private transfer from the hotel to the National Park about 8 am to discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier with our professional guide. Due to its size and accessibility, Perito Moreno is one of the major tourist drawcards in southern Patagonia. A large visitor centre at the site features a walking circuit which allows both faces, and the surface of the glacier to be seen. There is also a restaurant at the site. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 5
Transfer from the hotel to the International Airport at El Calafate to board your flight.
