In Argentina you will visit dream-like villages San Martín de Los Andes and Villa Pehuenia; in Chile two Thermal Water centers were chosen for you plus a beautiful resort in the countryside.
The Lanín National Park and the Conguillio National Park are the high points of the expedition, as well as icon volcanos Villarrica, Llaima, Lonquimay and Lanín, which are most powerful reasons for not missing this outstanding program.
Crossing over The Andes through two less regular passes add adventure to the trip.

Itinerary
Day 1(1 N 3 stars hotel) (Meals included:B, L, D)
Morning arrival at Buenos Aires. City Tour. Tango Show.

Day 2 ) (Meals included:B, L, D)
After breakfast, 7:55 am flight to Bariloche arriving 10:15 am. 65 Km Transfer up to the confluence of Traful and Limay rivers. Briefing during lunch, we prepare the bicycles and start cycling through Paso Córdoba towards San Martín de Los Andes village. Unbelievable views from the winding tracks: steppes, woods, lakes, streams, valleys and the ever-present mountain range of The Andes.
Welcome dinner, lodging at a central hotel of the typical mountain village of San Martín de los Andes on the Lácar Lake shore.

Day 3 (B)
Early breakfast, transfer and then start off towards Chile through the Carirriñe Pass (closed during the winter season), which is a winding narrow path bordered by exuberant native vegetation. 4WD backup to ensure a save trip.
Dinner and lodging at a Thermal Water Center in the middle of nowhere with an incredible star-clustered sky above. Mountain bike: 65 km
Day 4 - 5 (B, BL,D)“In Volcano Villarrica domains”
Cycling during the morning over Añiques Mount and then passing onto Coñaripe, Licanray and Villarrica. The breathing Villarrica Volcano (2.840 m) is imposing.
Transfer up to a resort on the shores of the Curaco River, with unique architecture, confortable rooms and tempered swimming pool.
You will love the typical Chilean Patagonic lamb barbecue as well as the very good wine.

“In Volcano Llaima domains”
After an early breakfast, cycling the morning through Conguillio National Park in the domains of Llaima Volcano (3.125 m), the most active volcano in South America with 10 eruptions in the XX century. It´s a once-in-a-lifetime experience: volcanic lava fields amid araucaria woods, volcanic lagoons and startling landscapes.
We are in the territory of a prehistoric survivor: The Araucaria, a millenarian tree reaching up to 50 meters, with a cylindrical trunk over 2 meters D, and which is thought to be the most ancient living being of the planet. We cross the Conguillio National Park from South to North, i.e. from the Truful Truful Waterfall up to the end of the park.
Dinner and lodging at a thermal water resort at Malalacahuello, close to Lonquimay Volcano (2.865 m).

Day 6 (B, BL, D) “Mapuches on sight”
After breakfast and a thermal bath, short transfer up to Corralco Mount and the challenge of overcoming the Raíces Hill at 1.639 m and then MBing downhill up to Lonquimay and lunch. The winding paths, among lengas and araucarias, are mostly of volcanic sand.
In the afternoon, transfer up to Icalma (Mapuche reservation in the high Bio Bio River) and the challenge of crossing over the border pass and arriving to Argentinian ground. Lodging in a dream-like inn on the shores of the Aluminé Lake.

Day 7 (B,BL,D) “The power of the Aluminé River”
Still in Mapuche territory we go South following the Aluminé River with its troubled, crystalline green-blue waters. There are 63 kms up to Aluminé Village and its hearty welcome with home-made pasta. Then, nearing Junín de Los Andes village, the imposing view of the colossus of the region, the majestic Lanín Volcano (3.776 m)! A 40-km transfer up to San Martín de Los Andes where dinner and lodging are waiting for us.

Day 8 (B, BL,D)“The Seven Lakes Route”
From San Martín de los Andes up to Villa La Angostura there are 104 kms. The mythical Seven Lakes Route, half paved and half gravel, will take us through a wonder of lakes, rich native woods and beautiful mountains. After 65 kms we shorten the trip boarding 4WD vehicles. Typical Argentinian barbecue dinner (it is said to be the best in the world) at a “quincho”, a thatched roof open place where most Argentines invite friends for a barbecue.
Lodging at an apart hotel with sauna, a tempered swimming pool and a garden with a lake view.
Mountain bike 65 kms.
Day 9 “To Bariloche through Quetrihue”
Breakfast and departure cycling toward Quetrihue Peninsula, a spectacular 12-km footpath taking us up to the unique myrtle (arrayán) woods. From there we board a motorboat that will pass by Victoria Island and leave us at Puerto Pañuelo (Port). Cycling the last kilometers on a road skirting Nahuel Huapi Lake up to our lodging on its shore.
Dinner at a typical home-made beer factory to savor smoked delights.

N 3 stars hotel)
Morning off for shopping at the commercial center of Bariloche city and transfer to the airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer hotel. Free evening.
Day 11 (B)

After a continental breakfast, our driver will take you to the airport to fly to South Patagonia to discover the traditional life of the "gauchos" and the unique Perito Moreno Glacier. Tranfer to the hotel. After a short break, a visit to “Estancia El Rincón” to enjoy a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue. Only one hour away from El Calafate, we find a little natural oasis in the middle of the forgotten immensity of the Patagonian desert, local fauna and flora, marine fossils, petrified trees and a warm welcome. The Estancia house is located on the North bank of the Santa Cruz River, overlooking the impressive landscape of the typical Patagonian steppe; an amazing infinite space that moves our spirits and awakens our imagination. After teatime, you will enjoy a demonstration of sheep flocking and shearing, as well as sheep-dog work, and a very good briefing on the sorting-out-of wool process and country chores. After dinner, you will return to your hotel in El Calafate.
Day 11 (Hotel

Visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the marvels of the world, with a 5 Km high wall plunging into Lago Argentino. The roar of a moving Glacier is an unforgettable experience. You will spend all the day enjoying the wonders of the glacier with 2 more activities: sailing near it and trekking on its icy surface.

Day 12 (Hotel

After the breakfast in the hotel, enjoy a Half day excursion,
between: Horse-Riding or Trekking around El Calafate, You‘ll
take the plane to Buenos Aires at 16.35 am where our team
will lead your to your hotel at around 20pm.

After a nice breakfast in your hotel we pick you up and bring
you to the airport.
Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer airport. Free evening. End

Option Ushuaia:
Day
10 (1N Lodge) (B, L, D)
Morning flight to Ushuaia, arrival at 2 pm. Weather conditions allowing, we propose 2 activities: Sailing towards Beagle Channel at 3.30 pm, or Adventure meeting beavers at 5 pm.: starting off westwards from Ushuaia city, a 5 Km drive until reaching off road tracks bordering the Andes (25´). Then, a 20´ walk though the woods to discover the beavers. Back to the 4WD and through the Río Chico Valley, a “picada” (i.e.: Salami, cheese, potato chips, appetizers and drinks) will be waiting for you in front of a big fire.
Unique return to Ushuaia: the outstanding off-road tracks and the magical view of Ushuaia by night.
Day 11 (1N Lodge) (B, BL, D)
Trekking and canoeing.
Departure at 9 pm by Route 3. After the National Park entrance (not included), we trek towards « Senda de la Costa », a 7-Kms-long trail, the most beautiful trail of the park (m&l 3-hour walk).
When reaching Lago Roca, we relax and enjoy our lunchboxes.
After a technical briefing, we take the canoes towards the waters of the rivers and lakes of Tierra Del Fuego: Laguna Verde, Río Ovando, Bahía Lapataia. Throughout this first part (1 ½ hours) of our adventure trip we will come across many bird species.
We will have a 45´ coffee break on an island where Yamaná natives used to live. The second part to Ushuaia through the Beagle Channel is a bit more difficult, but not so much so. Finally, near the end of the day, we will enjoy one more drink at Ushuaia before going back to the lodge.

Day 12 (Lodge)

Auks-Gable Island: Departure by Route 3, then taking Route J. After 75 Kms we arrive at Puerto Almanza, a small fishermen´s village with 50 inhabitants who live only on their catch. Short walk along the coast.
Some kilometers ahead, we stop at Estancia Harberton, the first Estancia of Tierra del Fuego. Its history and architecture recall ancient times. We then sail through the Beagle Channel up to Gable Island, the most stunning, wide and wild island on the channel. Once there, you will enjoy grilled fish in an old refuge. After a 2 ½–hour walk on the island, we board again to discover another marvel of Tierra del Fuego: Martillo Island, full of Auk species...
Day 13: (1N Hotel 3 stars) (B)
During the morning, optional outdoor activities: trekking around Ushuaia, sailing, horse riding or just relaxing. At 2 pm we leave for the airport to take the 3 pm flight for Buenos Aires. Arrival at 7 pm. Free evening.
Day 14: (B)
After a nice breakfast in your hotel we pick you up and bring
you to the airport.
Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer airport. Free evening. End
