volcano in north west argentina, in the Province of Salta.

and energy.
Being prepared in your mind to accept difficuities will lead
you to success.
Technical
The north west route and the normal route don't present any
technical difficulties. Therefore, any experience in ice or
rock climbing is not needed. You can make it walking. In regards
on the route conditions, crampons, ropes and ice axes will be
useful. The guides take all the decisions about security.
Physical
To avoid acclimatization disadvantages, and to increase the
possibilities of succes, we recommend a special physical training
following with a special diet 2 or 3 months before starting.
(always in the goal to have maximum succes).
Others
The principal obstacle that could occured is the altitude effect
on the human body which can be solved by a correct acclimatization
before the climbing ( included in the program).
An other difficulty is the low temperature. The effects will
decrease with good clothing and gears.
